Light age toning of the text block edges and internal text. The first 3.5 inches of the endpapers have become quite significantly sunned. A few handling masks to the panels. Colour photographic dustwrapper with purple and orange titles to the front panel and orange titles to the backstrip. Chipping to the top dustwrapper corners and backstrip edge. Rubbing to the dustwrapper panels and browning to the fold over panels and rear panel. Clipping of the dustwrapper, front fold over, lower right-hand corner. A previous owner has supported the top backstrip edge and the top right-hand corner of the backstrip on the verso of the dustwrapper, tape still in situ. A novel about the academic "call-girls" the experts, who for a nominal money and their expenses, go to international conferences. Second impression of the First Edition.
