About This Item
New York: Hawthorn Books, Inc., Publishers, 1963. First American Edition . Hardcover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 144pp. Illustrated. Translated from the French by Salvator Attanasio. Ex-library, though no library treatments to cloth and library treatments to dust-jacket have cleaned up very nicely. Several minor bumps to extremities of volume, along with minor wear to cloth. Aside from internal library treatments, text clean. Binding sound. Dust-jacket is in a primitive plastic cover from its time in a monastery, though the cover could easily be removed, if desired. Light wear and a touch of soiling to jacket, including several tiny tears and minor creases. Overall, a nice, clean, sound and attractive copy
