For 100+ years it has served as an army training camp and a cadet camp. It has sent soldiers to WWI, WWII, the Korean War and numerous other conflicts large and small. It has seen the training of countless cadets who have passed through its doors. This book gives a look at the lives of a number of the soldiers through their reminiscences and at the town that housed the camp through exerpts from The Vernon News. .
