Toronto: Thomas Allen. Good+ in Good dust jacket. 1964. First Edition. Hardcover. 22 cm. Sound and square binding in cloth-covered boards. Boards have mottling. Text block edges are lightly foxed. Gift inscription dated 1964 on front free endpaper. Inside pages are clean and unmarked overall, with one tiny corner crease to bottom of one leaf. Dust jacket has a large sticker pull mark on the front panel. There is wear and some tearing to the upper front flap fold. Both panels and flap edges have some light foxing and soil. A children's book which tells the story of the Welland Canal. Illustrated in pen and ink. Number 1 in The Young Adventurers Series from this publisher. .
