Some rubbing to book edges and paper at hinges is cracked but binding solid. Some quite faint foxing to preliminary pages. Previous owner's details to front free end paper. Lovely detailed black & white, full page, illustrations with tissue guards by notable Victorian artist, Edward Corbould. A very attractive volume. xxxiv, 586 pages. Trywhitt's Notes and Glossary have been condensed and appear under the text. This edition includes a lengthy Introduction and an abstract of 'The Life of Chaucer' by Tyrwhitt. Robust, professional packaging and tracking provided for all parcels. . New Edition. Hardback.
