About This Item

S. l. (Boston): By the author, 1908. Very good. New edition (first published in 1907); 6 1/4 x 4 3/4; pp. 1-42; red wraps, printed and decorated in black; a bit of rubbing and small cuts along staples; leaflet, advertising the Moral Obligation Society pasted to front wrap verso; overall in very good condition. Christian Theosophist Franklin Ellsworth Parker, a well-known crusader against capital punishment (studied and refuted in detail here, often using biblical references and calling capital punishment just another kind of murder), took discussing his convictions a step further - dedicating the second half of the booklet to campaigning against abortion.
