About This Item

Captain Will Fritz was with the Dallas Police Dept. from 1921 to 1970. He said he never wanted to be a chief. He dealt with everything from the KKK to the Clyde Barrow gang, to the Mafia and to the Kennedy Assassination. The late Jim Gatewood was a prolific Dallas historian who knew how to tell a story. He's written a lot of books. If you care about Dallas history, you have to read all of them. The book is in fine, like new, condition. The author has dated and signed on the title page (no inscription).

About mark mcdonald

Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
