This collection of books contains sixteen clean hardcover books from the "Great Western Edition" series published by Grosset & Dunlap; every book has its original color illustrated dust jacket, ranging in condition from poor to fine, with most falling into the "very good or better" range. A couple of the jackets were repaired by someone who was heavy-handed with clear tape. Each jacket has now been placed in an archival quality removable mylar cover. The hardcover books have tan boards with a "ZG" pattern printed on them - all have this same matching binding. The spines are black cloth with gold lettering. All have clean covers, bindings are tight, hinges are sound, endpapers intact. Date of publication for each book will vary, but The Great Western Editions of Zane Grey's books were published by Grossett and Dunlap mostly in the 1950's and 1960's; a total of 61 titles were published in the series. Eight of the titles that appeared in this series of books are the only cases where they are in print (this would include, from our offering, Stranger from the Tonto).
