Fine copy with original artwork. Based on the book Estaçao Carandiru by Drauzio Varella. A compelling film about life in a notorious prison in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where during a riot in 1992 111 of the inmates were brutally murdered by an assaulting police squad. The central figure in the drama is a doctor who treats the many ailments of the prisoners and in the process learns some of their stories.
