This book traces his life from la belle epoque through the roaring twenties. Binding is firm. Head and tail bands. Embossed maroon cloth boards are clean with only slight shelf wear. Warmly inscribed and signed by the author on FFEP. Text appears clean and unmarked. Includes many b&w photographs of Van Vechten and his cohort.
