About This Item

Doubleday, 1990. Book Club. Hardcover. Fine/fine. Basis for the movie starring Sissy Spacek and featuring one of the most iconic horror-movie scenes in which Carrie has a bucket of blood dumped on her on prom night.

Reviews

On Dec 27 2021, a reader said:
This book is a short one and a good one. Super quick read with all my favorite King-isms. It's amazing that it's his first. I'd recommend it to anyone for a heartbreaking snow day read -- once you've finished the Shining and Misery, of course.
