Beige boards, with brown print on front and spine. Prior owner's name on front paste down; otherwise, pages are clean and unmarked. Old book smell. Walter J Black hard cover with dust jacket, originally published by William Morrow, March 1961, 167 pages. 12mo (5.25"" x 7.5"") This is Perry Mason # 64, first published by William Morrow in 1961. A shoebox full of cash and an elderly mine owner who disappears, wheelchair and all, leave a secretary charged with murder. It was adapted for television and first shown on Feb. 24, 1962 as the 21st episode in the 5th season of the Perry Mason TV series starring Rayond Burr, with a changed title: The Case of the Mystified Miner.
