NY: William Morrow and Company, 1936. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. First edition, good to very good with no dust jacket. Black cloth with red lettering on the spine and front board. Jacket flaps were glued to the pastedowns, and some residue paper is present from their removal. There is also the paper residue of a bookplate or some other glued paper on the front endpaper. There are no library markings anywhere in or on the book. Some wear to black cloth at spine ends and corners, and the red topstain is a little unevenly faded. Some of the internal pages have areas of soiling. According to the list of prior Perry Mason titles at the front of the boom, this is the ninth title in the series.
