Original blindstamped purple cloth on boards with gilt spine decoration and lettering. Dull and dusty overall, but securely bound and clean inside except for previous owner's name in pencil and two small name stamps. Eight admonitions and a question, with an engraving beside each (Never be Down-Hearted, Be Cheerful, Do it Well, Be Orderly, Be in Time, Be Humble, Make a Good Use of It, Be Considerate, and Is it Honest ?) Advice all of us could "make a good use of." 93 pp..
