Red cloth cover, worn and bumped around board edges. Water staining to boards and early and rear pages, staining area pink. Insect damage to endpapers, foxing to early/rear pages but text mostly clean. No annotations. Page block edges browned and foxed. Some small tears/creasing to pages. Gutter cracked, exposing binding and few early pages loose. Includes sections on Stories; Poerty' Men and Manners; Puzzles; How It Is Done; and Undercurrents of London Life. Includes B/W illustrations. Rubbing to front cover, spine edges bumped. Page edges browned, foxing throughout. Ocassional loose page, o/wsie a charming book Sappho - Behind desk rhia 10/10.
