About This Item

Chicago: Royce Publishers, 1944 A quick reader produced during the war years by Royce publishers and sold to customers in the USA to be sent to soldiers . Not part of the armed services edition published by larger publishing houses this was Royces answer to sending books to soldiers. Each book has a trompe d'oeil spine and bottom fore edge as part of the cover illustration. This book is in excellent condition, Some aging to the paper since pulp paper was used during the war years but it is still very legible. A lovely collectors edition..
