A fascinating look at availability and pricing of antique maps before the Depression. In general pricing is in the 1-5 GBP range. On a brief examination of the offerings, exceptions include a price of GBP 35 for "an exceedingly rare map": America, laid down from the Observations of the Royal Academy of Sciences and compared with the Maps of Sanson, Nolin, Du Fer... (Carington Bowles, circa 1760). .
