Slim octavo in brown cloth lettered in gilt. iv+ 150 pp. plus plates. 13 plates at rear as well as numerous engravings throughoput the text. Subdivided into two general sections: Roman Sculptures Stones and Anglican Inscribed and Sculpted Stones. A tight, generally fine example, deaccessioned from the Harrowgate Group ofthe Yorkshire Archeological Society with their stamp on the front free endpaper; endpapers foxed and some lighter foxing to the title page.
