Reading Copy. Purple cloth with decorative black front design and blind rear design, gilt front device and gilt spine lettering. Heavy edgewear. Bumped corners. Boards and spine rubbed. Pages age toned. Page 141 torn away, but present. Slight dampstaining to the upper gutter of about the front free endpaper-page 20 and about page 673-last page. Early owner's name penciled to the verso front free endpaper. Penciled notations to the second rear free endpaper. In polypropylene bag.
