USA: N.P., 1832. Possibly first edition despite the title page indicating five London printings, of which there are not known records. Publisher unknown, place of publication likely Providence, RI. Scarce narrative of the life of an English pickpocket who married (and corrupted) an American woman, including details of the pickpocketing "art". Blue softcover (front cover missing), frontis engraving, 36 pages. Heavily worn, rear cover chipped and spotted, pages age-toned and edgeworn, first two leaves detached but present, name written at top of title page, light foxing throughout. . Soft Cover. Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
