The Hogarth Press Ltd, 1943. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1943. First Edition. 196 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth. Spine strip is missing, with fraying to joints and edges. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier to endpapers and pastedowns. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Very slight cracking to rear hinge. However binding throughout remains firm. Occasional dog-eared corners. Minor water drops to top edge of text block. Text is unaffected. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Cloth slightly coming away from boards, with minor water stains and visible black marks overall. Minor fraying to corners.
