Howard Timmins, 1953. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Poor. 248 pages (complete). This is the inside story of the legendary drawn Springbok cricket tour of Australia in 1952-53. The team had been reckoned on losing heavily, but instead with Cheetham as Captain and Ken Viljoen as manager they fought to a Test draw. The general condition of the book is poor. The contents are secure, sure. There is some mild annotation. Included are: a typed sheet with test results and notes from the New Zealand Tour of South Africa (53-54) and newspaper clippings related to this tour. End papers are marked and worn.
