Toronto, Canada: Wilson MacDonald, 1930. Author's Edition, number 933. Inscribed, dated (November 11th 1930) and signed by author on page facing title page: "E. W. Harrold from Bill Deacon and with best wishes of Wilson MacDonald". A hand-written note from "Bill (Deacon) is laid in by way of explanation and comment, and concludes: "I deeply regret he did not give us some real verse this trip". Boards smudged, binding at spine lifting from boards along front joint, boards warped, smudges on endpapers and paste-downs, else good. Note: E. W. Harrold was a well-known Ottawa journalist.. Signed by Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No DJ. Illus. by Rutter, Guy. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
