About This Item

(Amador City: Quintessence Press, 1987). First edition. Illustrated with drawing of Hawk Tower by Beilke. Number 14 of 100 numbered copies signed by her. 13.5 x 20" broadside printed in black, gray-brown, burnt sienna, and blue on heavy cream paper with lower edge deckled. Marlan Beilke notes on the verso that "Many of the exotic stones affixed to Hawk Tower were gifts of [Blanche], so that it is minor hyperbole only to state that [together they] 'built the tower of the hawk'." Fine.
