All with the title and a design of a mythical beast printed in black on front panel, first two dated 1903 and the last four 1904, half title of last number foxed and a few other scattered trivial fox spots, a few trivial marks and wear on wrappers, but fine fresh copies, virtually as new.
These six attractively printed and produced booklets were later reissued in an omnibus collected volume by Duckworth in 1904. The colophons show them to have been printed by R. Folkard and Son of Queen Square, Bloomsbury, London. The device on the front covers is probably designed by Moore himself. The first item is dedicated to C. S. R., that is Charles Ricketts of the Vale Press.
Thomas Hutchinson is presumably the Irish literary editor, critic and scholar of that name (c. 1850 – fl. 1910s) who published editions of leading English Romantic poets. His archive is in the University of Leeds.
