In addition to the well captioned color plates, there is a section on collecting suggestions. The book starts with an informative text on the history of the development of this art form in the area of Turn / Teplitz in northern Bohemia (the Czech Republic). A wonderful entry on the history of ceramics with relatively few examples seen in this country. The book is clean, bright and unworn. The jacket has minor edge wear but there are no tears or chips.
