Red cloth covered boards, gilt design on front with gilt and black titles and design on spine. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 548 pages; In 'Chad Hanna' he tells a story of the year 1836, a story of the (Erie) Canal country. Chad Hanna is a young orphan who rus away to find his fortune. He works various different jobs until he discovers the excitement of a traveling circus. His travels take him through all the little villages along The Erie Canal. .
