About This Item

Scribners. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 1935. First Edition; First Printing. Book 1 of two books, same titles, book one lacks jacket and is a second printing; book two has dust jacket and is the first printing. #1: First edition, second printing. Very good book, bound in red cloth boards and gilt lettering. Lacks jacket, however the front and rear DJ flaps have been laid in the book. The front pastedown has a card pasted to it which reads the following: "The compliments of Herbert Hoover. The rear pastedown has what appears to be the back side of envelope that letter arrived in.
