About This Item
U.S.A.: Annick Press, 2008. 1st Edition. Soft cover. Near Fine. This is stated to be the 8th printing, from 2008, of the 1st edition of this book. "The statistics of the millions infected with HIV/AIDS in southern Africa find a human face in this gripping story." (Booklist) This copy has the silver cover sticker identifying the book as an Honor Book for the American Library Association's Michael L. Printz Award for Excellence in Young Adult Literature. I would list this book in As New condition except for an old bookstore stamp on the inside front cover. The book appears unread. There is little or no shelf wear, the spine is unblemished, and the rest of the pages are unmarked and intact. This is a beautiful copy of a major book that has since been made into a movie. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall.
