London: John Murray. Very Good+ with no dust jacket. 1930. Hardcover. Marbled boards, edges rubbed/scuffed. Cloth spine, dulled paper title label to spine, small hole to label. Dark mark to tail of spine where library label has previously been removed? Boards clean. Hinges sound. Marbled endpapers, NO INSCRIPTIONS. Rough cut pages. 296pp. Library stamp to last page, reverse of title page and to the reverse of double page black and white illustration. Internally EXCELLENT, CLEAN TIGHT AND BRIGHT. Label to rear pastedown - Newport Public Libraries donation from W J Townsend Collins, 1930. Contains a facsimile of a manuscript discoverd in 1919 that is believed to be the work of Alexander Pope; facsimile of letter from Alexander Pope to C Mallet.; 107814; 8vo .
