Fine Woodburytype portrait of Darwin by Captain [Leonard] Darwin with facsimile signature below, 4 plates, facsimile autograph letter on 2 sides, 2 text woodcuts. Occasional foxing. Ex-libris of Darwin bibliographer, Richard Freeman. A near fine copy of this scarce book. Apparently, the photographic image used here is not listed in Freeman's Charles Darwin: A Companion. 1884
