Menston: The Scolar Press Limited 1969. (stiff paper covers) 71pp. Very good. Facsimile printing. The spine is cocked, the covers are lightly soiled, and there is an ink mark on page 3. "Thomas Middleton's Chaste Maid in Cheapside was entered in the Stationer's Register on April 8th, 1630, to Francis Constable. Although no edition of the play seems to have been printed after the first edition until recent times, the copyright was passed on to Richard Thrale (Feb. 17, 1648) and from his widow to his son Benjamin Thrale (April 11, 1681)" - from the Note to the text. Time Period 17th Century. Locale: London--England. (Drama, Comedy, Drama, Theater).
