Later maroon buckram, label at lower left corner of rfep, "Rebound and Repaired by Work Projects Administration for the Brooklyn Museum." Cloth moderatgely soiled, lightly worn. Binding solid. Original pictorial front wrap bound in. Pages and plates very good+, minor foxing , embossed seal in front wrap's margin at upper right. 52 gravured plates hors texte [inset], (incl frontis) -- largely architectural, but also including furniture and portraits. Limited edition #246 of 350. .
