First edition and printing, In very good bright red cloth boards, with gilt titles and two raised gilt coins to front. The covers are very firm, straight and clean and excellent for age. Lightly foxed and tanned free end papers. Red tinted top cut edge; the fore and tail edges are tanned and foxed; the fore edge is also deckled. The text block is tight and square; light foxing on many of the pages and on page edges. With b/w photos of coins throughout. Very good minus condition. No dedications etc. Without jacket. Rare edition.
