Foreword by Rouben Mamoulian. The volume is in excellent condition, with no ownership marks. The spine is moderately sunned. The corners are very slightly bumped, else fine+. The volume is tight and square and all pages are clean and crisp. NEAR FINE. This is a biography of Maurice Chevalier (1888-1972) the beloved boulevardier, international Frenchman and troubadour, who remains the symbol of all that is fun, insouciant and debonair. The many photographs chronicle his life and each of his many films. . 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall .
