Cloth; a fine copy with the slightly sunned and rubbed dustwrapper. Edited and with an introduction by Werner Muensterberger: the first publication of this important work, twenty years after Róheim's death. 'A few days before his death (in 1954), Géza Róheim handed me a voluminous bundle of material gathered in 1929 during his field research in Australia. It was his unpublished work on the Pitjentara or, more generally, the Aranda and Lurittja, among whom he had spent approximately eight months' (introduction).
