About This Item
London: Great Pan, 1964. Mass Market Paperback. Used; Acceptable. Some chipping to top of spine and water damage mostly to back half of book, but a good reader's copy. Morris West wrote several novels protesting man's inhumanity to man. Antonino, a homeless 8-year-old, sleeps on a street grating above a baker's oven, and spends his days in petty crime and traffic in vice. The only light in his life and that of the thousands like him is Don Mario Borelli, the priest of the Urchins, dedicated to saving what he can of this human refuge of the Naples slums. Don Borelli is real, as are ths slums and the Urchins.
