More prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Marker scribbles to rear pastedown. Light cracking to gutters, slightly exposing netting, but binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild rubbing, tanning and scuffing overall. Sticker to front board. Spine has heavier staining and tanning with noticeable splitting, fraying and crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.

Book is the fourth volume of the five-volume set; it contains forty-three stories for children. Colourful pictorial cover with red and black titling on front, black titling on blue spine, coloured upper text block edge, illustrated end papers, colour frontispiece, black and white plates throughout as well as a few full-colour plates. Lower corners and spine end have significant wear, light edge wear to remainder of cover, cover has light shelf wear, text block edges are darkened and have a few small, pale marks, spine lightly cracked at page 207. This is still a handsome book, in spite of flaws. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg.
