New Haven etc: Yale University Press, 1943. 1st ed. . Red Cloth. VG/No Jacket. 16 Cms x 24 Cms. f/piece+xv+321, 63 listed plates in text, 24 figures; name stamp of eminent natural historian W.H. Thorpe top front endpaper, ptherwise internally clean, tight and unmarked bar a short pencilled list of page numbers by gutter of rear endpaper, easily erased; covers clean but a number of small patches of pigment loss to spine, irritating rather than seriously disfiguring, spine ends also just a hint rubbed, oterwise unworn. Genuine 1st ed., the 2nd having blue covers. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range.
