Tokyo: Japan Publications Trading Co. Ltd . Very Good/N/a. No Illustrations. Type: Z A three box set of these character cards. No date - c 1995. New series I - contains studeis on the frequency of Chinese characters in modern newspapers ( The National Language Research Institute, 1971). New series II - contains Vocabulary and Chinese characters in ninety magazines of today ( The National Language Research Institute,1962) and New series III - contains a List of 1850 Characters for Daily Use ( The Ministry of Education, 1946). The size of the cards are 7.4 x 5.3 cm and all appear well preserved. There is some shelf wear to the boxes with a split of 2.5 cm, to one side of New Series I and rubbing to a couple of sides. The boxes remain tight. A very good three box set
