Red cloth-covered boards, green titles on front and spine. Bumped spine ends. Bottom corners lightly bumped, cloth wearing through. Top edge dusty. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Dust jacket has 2cm tear where spine meets front board and at top front corner; shelf wear, chipping to edges, price unclipped. A large and heavy volume which will require an additional charge for overseas delivery. Folio. A detailed survey of the history of Chinese painting and the many problems connected with it, featuring a great number of many paintings barely known to the Western public.
