Review of an outstanding sales season at Christie's featuring top selling items, including Einstein's letters, a Monet which fetched 560,000 guineas and Van Gogh's portrait of his mother, which fetched 110,000 guineas. Also work by Rubens, Rossetti, Renoir, Gainsborough and Lowry. Bright gilt lettering to front and spine 303pp illustrated with photographs in blackand white and some in colour and with decorated endpapers. Slight bump to top edge, otherwise very good copy with no inscriptions. Unclipped DJ has some edgewear and one small tear to bottom, otherwise good. HEAVY BOOK, extra postage will be requested..
