Description:
London: Jonathan Cape. Very Good- in Very Good dust jacket. 1967. First Edition; First Printing. Hardback. 0330233742 . 1st edition hbk in d/w; although this is ex school-library, this book looks hardly, if at all, read; the book itself has bright blue covers with gold gilt lettering to spine; inside cover has a sellotape mark, and there is damage to fep where stiker has been removed; there is 1 rubber stamp on title page; the pages themselves look really fresh and clean - my guess is unread; inside rear cover is another brown sellotape mark and another damage patch, I think where sellotape removed; the unfaded re d/w is only spoilt by having JF written on the spine; a nice copy of a scarce Gorey illustrated 1st edition; at the time of writing this was the only known book of orithological science fiction. ; Ex-Library; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
