This is a charming birthday book to allow the user to jot down the birthdays of friends and family with lines from the Winnie-the-Pooh books for each day and illustrations for each page. A. A. Milne was an English author popular for his works about Winnie-the-Pooh and for his children's poetry. Milne based his character Christopher Robin on his son and it was during a visit to London Zoo where Christopher became enamored with the bear Winnipeg that Milne was inspired to write the story for his son. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart with some fading to the extremities and spine and some light bumping to the spine. There is a bookplate to the front pastedown and ink on some of the dates throughout the book. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. Good
