Illustrator: Robert Polidori – Photographer. map of the Loire Valley, chronology of the Kings of France, genealogy of the Kings of France, introduction by author, glossary and bibliography. The blue coloured end pages. The text is illustrated with fabulous colour photography taken by Robert Polidori. Blue coloured cloth covered boards with yellow coloured embossed titles to the front panel and back strip. Colour photographic dustwrapper, again by Robert Polidori, with blue and black coloured titles to the front panel and white coloured titles to the back strip. Robert Polidori has photographed over 70 Châteaux of the Loire Valley. The châteaux are photographed both exterior and internally and the grandeur and history is easily discerned. A little rubbing of the book corners and back strip corners and quite a noticeable cock of the spine. Some creasing of the dustwrapper edges with a little rubbing of the panels.
