Hardback, 1949, first edition, published by Michael Joseph, London, 191 pages.
Fading, scuffing and a little marking to boards and spine. Spine particularly faded but title still visible. Front board has Boots Booklovers Library sticker and rear pastedown has remnants of a Boots label. Binding reasonably firm though cracked between pages 128 and 129. Slightly bumped corners. A little browning and marking to page edges but quite clean for age. Page surfaces generally clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
