About This Item
New York: Frederick A. Praeger, 1968. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good +/very good. 8vo, 6 x 8, 189 pages, including 67 photographs, 22 line drawings, and one map. A volume in Praeger's Ancient Peoples and Places series. This volume is unused and would probably have been rated "as new" but for the following: dust jacket is priced clipped, and both dust jacket and cover, front and rear, have what appears to be "machine" damage (as if mangled by some kind of automated packing equipment, etc.). The damage, however apparent, does not detract significantly from the book's aesthetic appeal.
