Wife of an oil vbusinessman in Changsha, on the Yangtse River, Alice writes of Chinese life around her, and the foreign colony in China 100 years ago Original black cloth with an embossed Chinese pagoda on the front cover. Very little edge wear, and bright gilt titles on the front and the unfaded spine. Clean and tight inside, hinges excellent. Included in this volume is a copy of the September 1926 review of this book. .
