Front hinge tender at the half-title yet binding perfectly sound thereafter. Some darkening to the endpapers and pastedowns. A lovely crisp copy of an extremely uncommon science fiction novel: an account of a journey to an idyllic utopia on Venus, with a brief excursion to Mercury, written by a Bristol-based mechanical engineer. Eichner, 1909-1971) American medical illustrator, noted Atlantean scholar, and First Fandom member who was friends with Forrest Ackerman, A.E. van Vogt, Ray Bradbury and others. Progress Report 4 two sheets folde and stapled to make 8 pages with editorial, profit and loss statement, photos with captions, and membership roll that includes the likes of Heinlein, Bradbury, Van Vogt and many others. Funcon II Westercon XXII is a single sheet folded with information on this upcoming show, SCARCE and with great sci-fi provenance. . Pamphlet. Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
