New York: Random House. Very Good. ©1955. Reprint. Hardcover. 184 p. 21.5 cm. Picture cover reprint edition. Sound and square library binding in illustrated boards. Light wear to the corners and spine ends. A couple of dings along spine edge. Faint impression marks on both boards. Publisher's card pocket on the front pastedown endpaper which reads "Random House Reading Program", but there are no other library type marks. Inside pages are clean, bright and unmarked. A biography of Clara Barton and her role in the American Civil War. Illustrated with two colour and black and white drawings. One of the publisher's Landmark series books for children. Landmark Books No. 58 .
